Does anyone know how to get rid of the tmobile jingle when the phone starts up? Thanks.
Sure...figure out how to root the phone. LMFAO Good luck
All the luck in the world wouldn't do it LOL
If you turn off the ringer before you reboot, it doesn't play.
I agree! That is very annoying... woke my son up the other night because of that crap.
There is an app called "Silent Boot," which works great with the myTouch Slide. Love it!
Perfect app. Thanks!
Another app you can try is flipsilent.
The way it works is anytime you put your phone screen side down it mutes everything. It is a handy app for work.
^^That doesn't work on boot though I'm pretty sure
Yeah it does
stand corrected I guess but I tested it after the original post when someone on xda said it might work and it didn't work for me...go figure. That's why I said "im pretty sure" it doesn't work on boot cause it sure doesn't for me. Silent boot does work for me though so I guess it is what it is. If you say it works for you that's totally cool but it does not work on mine that's all I'm saying
That is odd
Btw no app is needed at all if you put your phone on silent before you turn it off the boot tone won't play
also I edited my above post cause I said flip silent but meant silent boot works for me. There must be something I missed or did wrong with flipsilent but I don't know what it is.
It won't play if your phone is on vibrate mode when you turn it off too.
Is that not what Behold_this JUST said?
NO. Silent means your phone doesn't even vibrate. Vibrate means your phone vibrates. Two different settings.
Trying Silent boot on my t-mobile desire with froyo 2.2
Hell yeah silent boot is the app.
what resources/battery/processor does it use?
