Help stereo bluetooth help

I have bluetooth in my car that supports stereo bluetooth, however the quality is not very good. I prefer to have my bluetooth turned on but have the music play through the headphone cord I have plugged in and only switch to bluetooth for calls. This was easy to do on my jailbroken iPhone but I haven't found a way to do it on my Droid yet. Anyone know how to do this on the DROID?

have you tried to disable then Media selection for your headset?
You can find in in options for you bt headset in seting->wireless->bluetooth

Am I missing something? I had already looked for a setting and i am looking at the settings->wireless->bluetooth settings screen right now. I push menu and the only option that comes up is scan for devices, my headset is listed but I can not select it or find any way to change any settings for a specific device.

This is one of the things that was just so much easier on my iPhone!

This is a trick, and one you can try again and again.
When you have your list of bt device touch and keep touching until another menu shows up.
Then select options.
