Root Stick mount with otg cable?

    Is it possible to use stick mount to directly connect nook to external usb hd with otg cable?

    Don't know and don't have a NC here to try it.

    On the HP Touchpad, you had to have a powered hub (to power the stick) + the otg cable.

    Do you have the parts or only going to buy if it works? :D

    Only if it works unpowered cause I ordered an OTG Cable for my nexus 7.

    I think I paid $7 for a powered hub. :D

    My take on OTG... if you can't just plug the device in and have it work, it's not worth it. I'm not interested in building a Rube Goldberg device to get it to work.

    Is power needed for all devices or just things like a hard drive?

    Can I connect a thumb drive directly, or will it need power?
