General still no google earth _ htc droid eris_2.1_verizon

    A simple answer would be great. Incompatible software? Why does it not show in the market? Why can't you force the @!#$* thing to install? I am done with rant,thank you.:D

    The hardware cannot handle the software. The MOTO Droid was the first phone with beefy enough internals to run it smoothly.

    Probably because Google Earth would run like complete Ass on this phone. Why do you want it that badly anyway?

    The Eris struggles enough with 3D as it is. And your not missing a whole lot from Google Earth mobile. Its mostly a fancier version of Google Maps. I have it on my iPod Touch, but I never really use it.

    What can I say. I used to say it was the best mobile OS, but now I have been enlightened by the blessed Android.
