I'm rooted and already running Froyo, but my wife is at stock 2.1 and she still has not received hers yet either.

I have been browsing these forums since I got my Droid a few months ago and have found some really helpful things here. Now having said that, I just thought I would let it be known that my 2.2 update was just received. I just installed it about five minutes ago. So there is hope for those waiting.

I received mine Saturday night some time, when I unlocked the phone on Sunday morning it was there. so far no issues, other then when in the desk dock, listining to pandora the screen goes black, and I have to unlock the phone to get back in.

My 2.2 update notice showed up on my phone this afternoon in the middle of a raging thunder/lightning storm. Erring on the side of caution, I decided to wait for the storm to pass before starting the download. TORTURE. Waiting while that update button called to me.
Storm passed, download happened, and all is well. Even apps that some said wouldn't work with the update (Missed Call, for example) all seem to work.
So far - I'm a happy camper.
