stock apps

    ok so i think i already know the answer to this but do i have to root to get rid of the stock apps like that stupid breakout game....why the feck would i want that crap?

    Yes, you must root and then use root explorer or root uninstaler to do the job.

    i used titanium backup to uninstall most of the samsung apps, and at least one of them seems to have been a real memory hog, it used like 170-180mb ram after a fresh boot, now it's down to 120-130mb, so i can only recommend you do that if you've got a rooted ace ;)
