Help Stock browser bookmarks and cookies

As I am frequently trying out new roms which means full wipes I always have to recreate all my bookmarks and re-login to the various sites. This becomes annoying..

Is there a way on the stock browser to save all this information so that they can be imported?
I have the browser storage set to phone so would setting this to external card avoid this problem of losing all this info?

There are a few apps on the market which backup and restore bookmarks. I haven't tried any of them so I can't really recommend a specific one.
