I'm running stock 4.4.2 on my note 3, rooted. The only firmware I can find is 4.3. Can I go back to 4.3 firmware after upgrading to 4.4.2, via Oden?

Okay, great. I should be able to upgrade back to 4.4.2 OTA after, right? If I go to upgrade software in phone settings, will it prompt the 4.4.2 upgrade?

Yes this is correct,But be sure to remove your sim card while flashing back to the stock firmware,As it will wipe your sim card clean. Then put sim card back in when your done flashing,Because you will need it for the OTA updates.

Thanks for the heads up.

I guess they didn't release the stock 4.4.2 firmware? Any chance you'd know where to find the action memo apk?? I've looked everywhere and can't find it

Sorry to disagree AMOCO, but you can't go back.

If JimKnuckles flashes a 4.3.x ROM (any 4.3 ROM) he will end up with an irreconcilable bootloop. This can only solved by flashing a ROM with a version equal to or larger than what he was trying to downgrade from in the first place. (ie 4.4.2 to 4.4.2 or 4.4.4).

Okay.. Thanks again.. I did find and attempt the 4.3, but it didn't work. I'll just hold off.

its not a necessity for me to do it right now, I was just wanting to have it so whenever I'm ready to sell my phone I can get it back to stock
