The one verizon corporate store I checked will have 90 units. The best buy said they were unsure of numbers but that there should be more than enough for preorders. Things look good around here. I would bet best buy will be sold out by 10:30 or 11:00. I also bet that the verizon store will have enough for people all day long... Maybe into the next day. I don't think there is any reason to panic.
I also was able to get a hold of a dummy unit at another shop today. It felt big but manageable. I like everything about the phone except the locked boot loader and the lack of a front camera.
