stock "internet" browser

i have no clue how to even search for this topic, cant seem to find the right words. Anyway...... i use chrome, but when using the search in google now it uses the stock "internet". Is there anyway to eliminate my phone from using the stock "internet" browser? Nothing major, just kind of irritating.

Well clue us in! How did you do it?

Just install a replacement browser.

Then from another app, ie, an email that contains a web link, you will be presented with a menu to choose a browser to use.

Select the one you want and then choose "Always"

presto, the new browser is the default for web links

Alternatively, you can pull up Chrome from either the App Drawer, or in Settings/apps/app mgr/all

Then you either drag 'n drop to uninstall/remove/delete or do the same in the app mgr.

That will leave your new browser the only working browser and the default

i went to settings>applications>default apps>then hit "clear" on the "internet tab. Re Opened google now and then set default as chrome!
