I know this has probably been posted before but I can't make sense of it and I am weeping into my hands inconsolably! Anyway, I got my Galaxy S2 almost a year ago and it was updated via KIES a couple of times but before rooting was labelled as baseband of I9100xxKE7 and Build XWKF3. (I'm so glad I entered that into one of my posts ages ago!!). I made the decision to root the phone and then tried to upgrade the firmware/kernel (or whatever I did because I can't remember now). It ended up going wrong and I ended up resetting my phone to factory settings which now shows as baseband of I9100XXKH3 and build GINGERBREAD.XXKH3. It has never updated either over the air or via KIES since and I am assuming this is because of the firmware I have. How do I now go back to the original firmware so that I can update via KIES and hopefully get Ice Cream Sandwich? I am on O2 but had an unbranded phone from CPW. I have seen posts similar to this but I really need an answer with easy to follow steps so that I don't mess my phone up and then turn into a murderous maniac and go on a rampage bashing peoples heads in with a banana!!! PLEASE someone help. I will repay the person who helps me the most by quietly whispering the words of the theme tune to The Littlest Hobo into the ears of a stray Husky dog!
