Help Stop closing my game

when I multi-tab out of a game (got to a browser or check out a game ad from the game itself) then come back, my game has to reinitialize again. Is there a setting I can check to prevent that from happening, or is it a game dev issue?

This seems to happen on all my phones, with just the games. I switch out, come back, and the game start over and have to log in again, even as short a span as 30 seconds

Are you running any task killers, memory optimizers, or other apps to enhance performance? These are often snake oil and do more harm than good, and what you described sounds like the results of one of these.

not that im aware of, phone is mostly for biz/gaming thats pretty much it. As an IT dude, I agree with you on the snake oil. Most clean up /tune up apps are built in.

naw, all goofy apps. no fixer-uppers. that is why I am here. Need another set of eyes. I've had this on other phones too. NOT ALL the games do this, but I would say a fair share do, so that is why I was curious as to whether that is a dev choice

If we know what the game is, we might be able to confirm if that's how is or not. Some games do close when put in background or minimised, that's something those devs have done.

If the game is closing because of ads in the game itself, and you have to login again because of the game's own ads. That really sounds like something the dev needs to fix ASAP. Maybe worth you emailing them about it.

OK, no task killers, cool. Is it limited to a specific game or any game? If it is a specific game, what game is it?

so far all of them, I play a lot of ilde games, so it isn't TOO invasive, :-D, My Biz apps do it as well (Appfolio Property Manager to name one)
When I change apps, it is like all these running apps "log out".

Most the games I have are idle/incremental so they are not too invasive, great for phone games, and a couple biz apps

taptitan 2
world quest (new game)
taptap heroes
shakes & fidget
to name a few games

biz apps
Appfolio (property management)
credit karma

All these (and more) apps seem to act like they "log out" when they loose focus -

You might have your 'Background Processes' set pretty strict, as that can have the same effect,.

I double checked my developer options..

Don't keep activities: off
background process limit: standard
Show all ANRs: show app not responding dialog for background apps
*force allow apps on external: on

these are all I found that seems to be related to my issue. If there is another one.. lemme know.
