Does anyone know how to stop spam text before it gets to my phone so I wont get charged for a text I dont want? I went to my sell phone store and ask the guy there but all he could do was put NO TEXT on my account but that didnt stop it. Im afraid to reply to the text with STOP because Ive read on the internet that they might start sending me more texts when they find out they have a live number. On the US gov site it says to respond with STOP first and then report them if they dont stop.
Yea right like thats going to help. Any help out there?

Here's a way to do it.

Although, sending STOP back to them is usually the easiest way to stop them from texting you.

I called my service this morning and had them block all text since I dont use it anyway. They tried to charge me $1.99 to do this but I told them I shouldnt have to pay for this so he said he charged me and then gave me a $1.99 promotion to take it off. Then he credited my account for the texts I was charged for. I cant wait to see my next bill.

D214TX it still goes through your service provider so I would still get charged for the text.
