    What is this OTHER taking up so much space and my Apps so much as well, I have not stored anything that big, how can I get rid of it so I can use the rest of the space Screenshot_2016-08-17-17-11-03.png

    it's my internal phone memory and my phone is an HTC desire816

    "Other" is app cache/files.

    I use ES file Explorer to check which files are taking up most storage and move images/videos to the external storage.

    You can also try to move downloaded apps (user apps) to the SD card, it won't move their data but it helps. Note: not all apps can be moved.

    @IsaacGuti is correct. In addition to cache it is also your system partition. This is the part of your phone that is required for it to be a..... phone. It's not a bug.
