Storage Issue.

Hi there,

I keep running out of Internal Space on the S7 Edge. I have a 128GB external SD card and have all my photo and videos on the card 30GB used.

I have moved most of the larger apps to the SD card.

How can I discover what files are consuming all of my internal storage?

Ah, that's unfortunate, because that app tells you exactly where your memory is being consumed. I would have a clean up at least to make space for it. Using this app, I found out that one of my games took 2.5GB of internal storage!

Ok - Apps is listed as 22.2GiB

It lets you drill down and see which apps are consuming the most

"Dragon Front 604MiB" - I have no recollection of installing this.... Maybe when I tried out a Gear VR?

This is brilliant - I have freed up 4 GiB....Looks like I had something called Darknet installed. maybe from a previous owner.

You might also have a lot of cached data that can be removed.

1. Go to your phones settings
2. Tap Storage
3. Tap Cached Data
4. It will confirm you want to remove cached data.

The cached data in my last post can be removed, it's temporary data that isn't needed. It can't be moved to the SD card.
