Root Straight Talk Insane

OK, So I got the Straight Talk Samsung Galaxy Proclaim. Like the phone not problem there. My issue is the annoying Tracfone boot animation!!!!!! Now I have rooted the device and gone trought the entire file system. There is not Boot.zip files. I cannot find how to get rid of that boot screen. Absolute System will not install boot annimations over it. Rom toolbox is useless. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!

You must reboot your phone a lot to feel such a strong need to replace the boot screen?

The boot screen will probably require a new boot loader to be written/installed. It was the same for the Samsung Prevail I used to use. So until someone gets that done, I think you're stuck with it.

Thanks for the Info. I just wanted to install a custom boot animation . and I dispise tracfone lol.

I believe you can change the boot sound. Would that help? It is called poweron.snd
