strange charging issue

This just started happening last night. My phone died so I put it on the wall charger, it would not charge past 14 percent. I tried to move the charger to a different AC outlet in the home, still same issue. So today at work I am using a different charger and my rezound went to 70 % then it stopped charging and started to dispense the battery. I am not sure if maybe I have an app that is running non stop in the background that might be killing the battery or if I have bigger issues. Wanted to see if anyone on this forum has experienced anything similar.

I had the same issue. Verizon gave me a new battery and the problem went away.

thanks for the reply backdoc, so basically if I go to the verizon store by my house and tell them of the issue they will give me a new battery?
