Strange whistling sound using fring?

So I just had my 4th call on Fring, and every single call has had this weird high pitched whistling noise in the background. Anyone else hearing that? I haven't tried QIK yet.

Video chatting is badass, and it would be even better without that noise in the background.

Oh BTW all my video chats were done over WIFI, I'm not sure about the other ends connection.

My buddies just keeps playing the fring ringtone, even when he logs out of fring. But other than that, it works great, and we tried it over wireless. Little skippy/laggy, but usable nonetheless.

Same here it almost makes the chat not worth it.

its probably feed back... videochat is always best used with headphones... the same thing happens when video chatting pc to pc...

The Qik app has it figured out...... kinda.

They require the call receiver to press and hold a "talk" button in order to speak. It definitely works well.

I did not see a way to use a blue tooth headset will they work with fring
