Hi All, Strange problem with Droid Wifi. I live in SF Bay Area and some buses have free Wifi. My Droid connects, gets an IP, but cannot connect to the internet. The only fix is to do a full restore from a couple of days ago. It will then work for that particular ride but the next day it won't connect again. Wifi works fine everywhere else (home, public). I've tried clearing cache (user & dalvik) with no luck. I'm using LGB v1.92 w/ Chevy kernel Also, I have an Adroid tablet and it connects to the bus wifi with no problem. Any ideas? j-
Uh, Jay, if you hadn't read about it yet, I would personally avoid public wifi networks like the plague unless you're running the very latest Gingerbread and then I'd STILL be paranoid: Major security flaw affects Google Android phones - May. 18, 2011 Just trying to help you out here, bud.
