Help Stream GPS data

I have 2 android phones.
Machine 1 has a good GPS system - and rarely if ever drops the signal. But it has a small screen and so is not to good for mapping work - especially with my ageing eyesight.
Machine 2 has a good large screen, but often seems to loose the GPS signal and then takes ages to recover it again.

So - is there a solution where I use the GPS data from m/c1 and stream it with BT to m/c2 ??
Any suggestions as to how this can be done please ?

How about we try to get GPS working on that 2nd phone. Install this 'GPS Status and Toolbox' app from Google Play:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.eclipsim.gpsstatus2&hl=en
In the app's Menu are options for 'Compass calibration', 'Calibrate pitch and roll', and 'Manage A-GPS state'. Do all three to reset that phone's GPS and see if this makes any difference.
