I just got a new Lg Ally, and I love it. Of course the first thing I did when I got it was root it. Now that I'm rooted, I wanted to put on a recovery so I could try out a few of the custom roms out there.

I have been reading through the tutorial I found here. Since I am rooted, I skipped the steps 1-7. The first command goes through fine, but when I get to moving the flash_image, it says:

/sdcard/flash_image: No such file or directory.

I can see the flash_image and the Ra recovery with Astro, so I have no idea what the deal is.

Anyone else run into the same thing? Help please?

The file flash_image.zip is attached to the intial message about custom recovery. You need to extract that, and save the file flash_image inside of it to the root of your SD card. Then it will work.
