    O-H-I-O!!!
I just rooted my droid to froyo (sapphire) and everything seemed to be going smooth until i rebooted the phone from recovery. The motorola M screen came up and then the sapphire came up. After about ten seconds it goes away and reappears and has been doing this for the past 35 minutes. Is this normal? Any clue on what i need to do to fix this?

That is not normal. I ran into the same issue when going to that ROM. Boot up back into recovery mode and go to your last backup. If you did not have a back up, then put a different ROM on the root of your SD card, name it update go into recovery mode and select install from SD card. Follow prompts, suggest doing a wipe data/cache. Then install the new ROM. I prefer JRummy Kangerade, but any other rom of your choice should work.
