Study: 34% of iPhone Users Think They Already Have 4G

    Interesting statistics. I wish they had posted the statistics for Android users as well.

    I imagine it would be much lower. Android users seem to be a fairly intelligent bunch for the most part. I have yet to see a ditzy teenage girl walking around with one. The IPhone on the other hand...

    They do have stats for Android users.

    iPhone users: 34%
    Android users: 29%
    Blackberry users: 24%

    Now it doesn't say how many of those Android users are actually using a 4G phone unfortunately. So the % for Android users is really unknown for how many believed to have 4G on their phones but don't. I could see the confusion for Apple users believe the 4 meant 4G or when people referred to it as the 4th generation.

    That survey is incomplete without the margin of error. I wish they would've used a higher sampling of at least 2,000.

    That was my first thought too about the iPhone 4 and 4G. Probably some confusion with the numbers and what was being asked. But who knows?
