I just accidentally hit that ad about "which number do you see"
And it took over my phone. Every bookmark, every search, it froze out every thing. I had to do a hard reset just to get the browser to work. Everything I tried to search didn't matter, no way should this crap be on this site, I come to this site to learn and make my phone better not to lose everthing I've done because of some malicious B.S. and it says 9.99 to 14.99 a month. I hope I'm not getting charged for this idiocy. Everyone beware!

You had to do a factory data reset because of an ad here?

I'm hoping that you just mean a live battery pull, but either way having something freeze up your browser is unacceptable.

Do you remember what product the ad was for? The admin staff here is very proactive about stopping intrusive pop ups, etc.

I think hard reset is referring to a battery pull. I call them hard resets as well...
