Help Stupid battery full notification!

Hi,
Been looking into this as it is really putting me off the phone.

Every night my phone will beep a few times throughout the night telling me the battery is fully charged...

There must be a way to disable this pointless notification without rooting? (I have no idea about rooting)

The only options i have found are to charge the phone before i go to bed etc but none of these a viable.

Thanks

I had that issue before and after rooting.
In my case, I have the battery monitor widget app and had the app alert me to when the battery was full. I also had it set to repeat the alert. I disabled that and so far its o.k...but,
I just disabled it last night so I am waiting to see what tonight brings :)

I have also got this problem last night I almost threw the phone out the window I can't believe there isn't a simple way of just switching of the sound.
I am not very tec so I thought it was me but I can find a solution anywhere plz help!!M

Surely there must be a solution to this. Why would they do something so stupid. 95% of all phone owners would surely charge their phone at night so who wants to be woken up 10 times a night to be told the battery is fully charged...

Right I have stopped it but I don't know how !!!
I have done three things
1, I have installed lightflow app
2, I have installed juice defender
3, which it could be I have changed charger
I have let it charge and on the phone it says it is charged but I don't know how long before I get the sound?
I will let it charge all night tonight and will let you know tomorrow.

Jelly Bean let you disable the notification of every app on your phone ...Settings > Apps ...

The charging full notification might come of a battery monitor app on your phone.

Open the notification (or long press on it ?) should show you the "culprit" app :)

I know this might sound mad but when I use the Samsung charger that came with the phone I get the sound but if I use an after market charger I don't ?

You may be on to something here. I haven't heard a sound when the battery is full, but then again I have NEVER used the charger that came with the phone.

I use the charger that came with the phone and I never get a sound when the battery is fully charged. I do want to hear something that lets me know it's fully charged. Is that only available with some sort of battery app?

Probably. Check out GSam battery monitor and battery monitor widget to see which one you like better. I used both, but have recently purchased android tuner which replaces both.

I use Battery Notifier app. I like the big coloured percentage in status bar but u dont have to use that.
U can set tones for fully charged and as battery low warnings for whatever percentage u want plus it can tell u battery temp, voltage in notification bar

I'm trying the battery monitor widget right now and it does give a notification sound when the battery is fully charged but it has turned off the green light.

I charged the phone over the weekend and heard the notification sound I had set but noticed that the light was still red. I waited a good 15 minutes or so but the light never changed color. Seems like you either have to have the light or the sound with this widget. I might try something else to see if I can get both because I might not always be in the room to hear the sound.

I uninstalled the Battery Monitor widget and installed this Notifier app and it does what I want it to. I get both the full notification sound and the green light.

I have a brand new s3 and never had this.. until i mucked around with a few apps that i didnt like and uninstalled (i dont know for sure it was lightflow but i was trying to change falcon pros led colour but didnt like light flow so uninstalled) Anyway the phone started lighting up repeatedly at 2am after a full charge. So i turned it off left it off for a minute. and then turned it back on and the problem never reoccured.. so far..
