Hi Guys, Can I pick your collective brains for a moment?
I recently manually upgraded my HTC Desire to the Android 2.3.3 O/S
    via the HTC site.
It all went well with no obvious issues.
But over the last few days I have noticed a MASSIVE increase in data/3G use
(I have 3G Watchdog) Basically my 1GB monthly data allowance runs from 17th of each month and the data counter resets each month on the 16th at 23:59
and previously I would only use about 25% of my allowance but by yesterday (21st) I had used 26.5% and at current rate I will have used 145.8% of my allowance
I cant work it out, I have no new apps compared to when I was running 2.2 (froyo)
and no other settings with regard to apps / sync / or gps are any different.
    It has me stumped?
in the accounts and sync tab the only things ticked are "background data" and "auto sync" the others "facebook for HTC sense" "google" "news" "stocks" "twitter for htc sense" "weather" are not ticked.
I only enable "use GPS sattelites" when I need to use it
It seems odd that this increase only started since the Gingerbread update
I look forward to your thoughts
    many thanks
