    Hi all!

I apologize is this is the wrong place to ask this, but I just bought my son a SuperPad VI Android 4.0 for Christmas. Is there an option to set a password? I can't find how to do it anywhere. Thank you!

Hello and welcome to Android Forums! :)

Did you want to set a password for the whole device or just the Play Store?

For the device you go into settings>security and set the screen lock type to password. Make sure you don't forget the password because if you enter it incorrectly too many times then the only way to unlock it is with the credentials of the email to which it's registered .... AND for that to work you must have an active data connection. If you forget the password and don't have wifi on, the only thing you can do at that point is a hard reset, which will wipe everything out and put you back to factory defaults.
