Swapping a new (4G) SIM card for an older one

Hey folks- Got my S5 last week and I'm enjoying setting it up and learning all the new things.
One thing that has popped up is on "Softcard". It says "To use Softcard, your phone needs a new SIM card". When I got the new phone, I put my old SIM in, but got a new (enhanced) card from Verizon. How do I go about swapping out the new card for the old one? Anything to do besides just swapping one for the other?

Talked to Verizon and got an answer on this...
Basically shut off phone, pulled old SIM card, put in new SIM card, turned on phone, dialed #832 and new card was activated.....
