lol... No way. Who would ever see that. Awesome. I wish it stayed open after you lift your finger though.
wow, i like that!
too bad i don't use the default keyboard.
i can't get it to work
That's a pretty sweet find. If only Swype did that .
I also have Uber keyboard for voice dictation of texts. Do you know if swype works w/ that? I have the shapewriter now and there is no voice option
I like the way Swype handles punctuation. If you long press on a key with symbols or numbers above the normal letter, it lifts off to apply the symbol or number. Also, in a program such as Handcent that can handle speech, if you press menu, you get the option to use speech to text.
That's sweet. Nice find!

Thanks, I'll check handscent out. Shapewriter handles punctuation the same way. I just have a problem capitalizing things
Isn't it kinda weird that there is no comma?
Wow sweet, I read that and tried and thought LIES then realized you hold your finger down and bam it stays!
HOLY COW nice find hahaha NEVER would have found that litle gem
oh froyo you complete me
OMG! That is awesome. I hope google patents that and sues Apple if they copy it
In Swype, you place your finger on the first letter, then slide upwards off the keyboard, before going to the next letter. Doing so automatically makes the first letter of your word uppercase.
Alternatively, there is an up arrow to the left of the Z key, which allows you to type in caps, if you need to do so consecutively.
As to the OP:
Though I don't use the normal keyboard, anymore, I'll try this feature...its always the little things.
Seriously, we are just finding this now (or on the 18th rather...)!? Thank You OP So Much... This is huge for me
PS- Also works in landscape mode
