Thinking about it.... anyone else?
Thinking about it.... anyone else?
Well I currently have both phones in my possession. My inspire 4g is running on Coredroid 6.5
The infuse: Amazing Screen quality!!! Battery life seems much better then the inspire. At least the stock inspire. The phone scrolls smoother then my iphone4.
Do I keep the infuse, sell the inspire or return the infuse and wait for the sgs2.
I have both phones.. i love my inspire..i love everything about it..one of my top best phones..few bads about the inspire are the speakerphone and call quality and the screen under sunlight..not the best..but besides that i have no other gripe..phone is responsive, fast, no lag at all.
I got the infuse when it came out and here are my thoughts. battery is better but the inspire battery wasnt bad either..screen awesome..it is big but manageable. The signal is jumpy on my phone ..along with the wifi at my house..it shows like 1-2 bars when my inspire had 4 wifi bars.
also sense ui is much better, stock email on htc blows away samsung
so not sure which one i like yet..im using the infuse out for now but i will decide later. i will also update pros n cons
the only reason as to why I am parking my inspire right now,is because I want to try the infuse. I love my inspire, but the screen in the infuse is superb, I got it last Sunday and so far the biggest complaint I have is that as soon as I walk into my house to my home network, I have to set up the wifi manually, it does not do it automatically, the inspire connects as soon as I am opening the garage. I have 25 + days to play with the infuse, and decide, but call quality, speaker phone, colors are great...I will hate to give it up just because it does not connect right away to the wifi.
First of all, Thanks to both of you for the detailed responses
I am glad to hear your report about the great display quality on the Infuse, I'm not sure why some of the reviews have claimed that it's pixelated with text and some images. But I always try and remember it's just one persons opinion and they have to find something on every phone to complain of cause that's what reviewers do.
As far as which one to keep, ha..ha..ha... I'm the guiltiest on the planet, as I rarely sell any of my phones unless they are really dreadful, and I haven't had a dreadful Android yet.
Plus I like to use each for a few weeks, after I first buy them, get em all setup to my liking and then rotate a phone every few days. Then when I return to a particular phone it's like it's fresh and new again. Just adds to the fun.
I certainly agree with your take on the Inspire, I've been very impressed with mine and enjoy it a lot.
Would you be so kind, as to elaborate on the "signal being jumpy" on your Infuse?
I'm not sure I understand what you mean. For example I have a few phones that the indicator is quite erratic, yet the phone reception and function is great so I simply ignore the signal strength indicator.
Just an interesting side note to share.
I have had my Samsung Galaxy S2 for a few days now and if it had a 4.5" display it would be so close to perfect it scares me.
Why... cause if I had the perfect phone that would ruin everything ....ha..ha...ha...
Cheers, and thanks again for your timely responses.![]()
Yes, that's what I'd do is ignore it. Especially since all is well.the signal that shows on the infuse compared to the inspire is less..the phone works perfectly with calls and everything but it shows less signal where the inspire will show more bars..same thing with wEspeciallyifi signal..but like you said maybe i should ignore what im seeing since it works.
i thought about it for about 5 minutes. then i did it. luckily i had just renewed my contract last week. so all i had to do was wipe the inspire clean of all traces of being rooted, throw it in the box, pay the difference and walk out with a brand spankin new amazing infuse.
i didnt do a lot of testing with the inspire, but from what ive experienced, everything is better about the infuse... minus the size. but thats the price you gotta pay to have a beautifully big phone.
i read a few talking about jumpiness or lack of ability to connect to home networks. i personally have none of those issues. there hasnt been a single glitch
