Ive been with straighttalk for a few years, and my phone ran off verizon towers i guess. That phone broke, and I was forced to buy an unlocked galaxy note 3. When it boots it says VERIZON. Bought the straighttalk activation kit, everything works fine... except i suddenly am being asked about roaming charges for using at&t towers and I have noooo service where i live, so i'm having tons of trouble with missed/dropped calls, etc. Works great with my home Wi-fi, but its a PHONE. I've been over it and over it with straight talk for hours. HELP!! I just want it to use Verizon towers

Did you use the Verizon compatible sim?
Look in Settings-More-Wireless and Networks and check under preferred network type and see if you have LTE/CDMA selected and if you have a roaming option see if you can select home only.
