I've got a problem with meebo IM. When I start it its icon appears in the top left on the notification bar, which is ok. But when I'm done chatting, how do I close it? back doesn't work, home doesn't work. I even downloaded the terminal but couldn't kill it with that either. Is that a bug in meebo or is android just like that (no closing of apps)?

Press Menu and hit "Sign Off" ...

    That's how I close it...

Good to remember for any app ... check the menu key for any other possible actions that can be taken... Also long-pressing and item can also bring up possible options... these are conventions that are used across all apps for Android.

Yeah..i used to wonder how meebo closed at one point too....

Then i discovered that the sign out button works to close the program too.

I just assumed that the sign out would take me back to the log in screen at first..hehe

Glad i could help out though...
