Can somebody point me in the right direction for getting Swype back on my Incredible? Been missing it ever since I upgraded last week. Thanks!

It supposedly against the rules to ask for Swype on here. You have to go on Swype.com and sign up for the beta

I don't think it's against the rules to ask for direction. I think it's against the rules to post the .apk. BTW, the beta is closed.

If you were an official beta user of Swype, simply log back into the Beta site and resend the download link. You can also check and see if you saved the Swype Installer.apk on your SD card and try to launch the install from there.

Is anyone's Swype actually working on 2.2? Mine isn't, after every reboot I lose the ability to swype.

I'm email the devs about it now...

I've the same issue as you. I just go back and reinstall from my sd card. Inconvenient sure but it gets it to work.

It's against the rules to provide links or post the .apk for where to get it illegally.

OP - Get it from Swype | Text Input for Screens . Register and ask them to resend it to you.

    Nothing else to discuss here.

Actually I found a quicker way (spent some time on the swype forum). Just switch the input method from Swype to something else and back.
    Still annoying, but less so...
