Swype look and feel

Hopefully I'm in the right section of the forums for this, but I searched to no avail about this.

I just recently replaced my Samsung epic =( with a new droid2 =). Both have Swype and I love it. But on the epic the Swype keyboard had a darker color palette that I liked much better. I couldn't find anyway to change this on my droids Sywpe settings, is it even possible? Change the look of the Swype keyboard?


(Side note and COMPLETELY off-topic, there is no way I can copy over my Angry Birds data over from the Epic is there, I had just made it to the boomerang bird)

Have a look here. there are a few different styles that can be loaded with metamorph.

[AppMod]Swype Themes: HTCSwype, NakedSwype, BlackGlass Swype (MM Files) - xda-developers

Not used it personally as it does not work with my Desire.

oh noes! i'm not rooted! I hope something comes along without the need for root. I'm sure I will root it one day, just a bit cautious and don't have too much of a need to.

I'm on the brink of rooting, not so much for this addition, but just to remove bloatware. But i honestly don't want to put in the time to learn everything, so I'm avoiding the being dumb risk and screwing something up by not doing it.

rooted/backups completed, going to try and alter my Swype keyboard meow!
