Swype

    Is swype available on Captivate? I haven't been able to find it.

    Yes, it is. You need to go to Settings > Locale and Text > Swype

    It isn't turned on by default.

    I rather love Swype. It's one of the features I really hadn't contemplated using, but I'm already about 30 percent faster, using it, and that's with very little practice.

    I'm still trying to figure out which one I like, but at any point you can hold your finger down on a text box and choose 'input method' and switch between keyboards. For now I'm still using android because I like to use voice input sometimes which is great.

    Co-sign. I used Shapewriter on my Backflip, didn't like it at all but Swype on this phone is a breeze to use.
