Help swype

After the 2.1 update. I found out swype beta was closed. Does anyone know how I can get it.

i can't get swype to workk on 2.1. am i the only one?

After you download the file and install it, go to settings and under language & keyboard uncheck the android one and check the swype method. Presto!

You don't have to uncheck android one. You can have them both checked and switch between the two keyboards as you like. All you have to do is long press the text entry field, then hit input method, and select either swype or Android.

I just tried to text using swype method and a pop up came up stating that my trail period had ended. Does anyone have a link to a full version? Or can someone tell me how to get it to work again?

This one is working better and nothing about the trial period expiring, enjoy amigos. Also smaller file size and snappier in my opinion.

Dreze88 I deleted the first file and tried to download the smaller file but I couldn't download it. I tried to reload the first file and it wasn't there.

When I download this file directly from my phone it downloads as a txt file and not like an app file. Did I do something wrong?

hey guys...i just installed this swype and it doesnt work...it will if i manually tap letters like a normal keyboard but when i try to swype it wont work..there is a blue outline around the entire keyboard that lights up when i try to swype..any suggestions? thanks!

Reboot and you should be good. That's what I had to do.

If you have sdk installed you can simply do a "adb -d install blah.apk" to install any apk app. HTH
