Hi all I was wondering if Swype comes stock on the Evo or if their is some tinkering I have to do to make it work. Any help would be much appreciated!

On this screen I think i like the android keyboard better. Swype is still pretty cool though.

I just figured everything out and Swype seems amazing my typing was all over the screen yet it was still able to figure out what I was typing. Thank you so much!

Holy junk. This keyboard is amazing!! I cant stopusing this ust cause i wanna keep using it as much as possible. I guess my only complaint oss that I think I like the way the default keyboard predicts text better for those times I feel like tapping instead of using the swype feature. This takes some adjustment period but our is awesome!

give it about a 15 days, using it everyday you'll get the hang of it.

  13. Wow. I was skeptical of Swype at first but I just installed it and its pretty awesome. Crazy how it knows what you want to type most the time, even if your finger goes over 5-6 other letters in the trace.

Swype is amazing. Ive used it for a day and I don't see myself going back to stock android. Especially since you can still peck type with swype. I love it!!!

Does this app technically void our warranty?

and what am I doing wrong it doesn't seem to be working for me even though I selected it on the language and kb settings menu

Okay....now I've changed the input method, but it gave me an error saying the package i installed does not match the screen size of this device......apparently i need to find another link haha

  16. No it does not.

Must have been for another phone.

Thanks. Hopefully this one will overwrite my preexisting package.

so...cannot download. The content is not supported on this phone.

Does it have to be rooted to get swype or something?

hmm the market has shapewriter that seems to do something similar, but everyone loves swype so i would love to be able to try it out:(

Apparently the version i found earlier works in portrait mode but not landscape...

Apparently I need help on figuring this out haha

okay, what about appbrain links sir? =]

AppBrain acts as a market sync utility, not an illegal distribution outlet for applications. Links to AppBrain are fine! :)

Oh! My apologies. Im obviously new here haha.

Is there a reason Swype isn't on the market?
