what the difference between sygic and google maps navigation ?

I have had good success with google maps navigation but will be going to spain next month and wanted to have the best GPS available. I noticed there was Sygic. So I'm a little confused as to why they would even offer another GPS sw when google is already a native app.

    is sygic better ?

A dedicated Satnav like CoPilot or Sygic store maps on the Android SD card which means that you are not going to run up data charges which may be appointment when travelling abroad.

Try the demo of Sygic for a few days - I just tried it last weekend for a 4 day trip much of which was outside network coverage and it impressed me enough to buy it just now. Maps Navigation is certainly o.k., provided you're in a network coverage area, but will use up data which, depending on your plan, may not be an issue.

And Sygic Aura, IMO, just has a better "look and feel" than Maps Navigation and has the maps on board. I've never had a "real" GPS unit and can't compare but with Sygic Aura I can't really see a need for one.
