All of the information I can find on this issue concerns syncing the Outlook Contacts and Calendar. I want to do the opposite.

I don't want all of the contacts in my outlook contacts to be transferred to my phone. I don't use the outlook calendar. All I want to sync is the mail items....new mail, deleted mail, sent etc. Is that possible? If so help on how is appreciated.

    Thanks, Paula B.

All you need to do is go into setup for a new email account. While going through the email setup it will prompt you for sync. It will have a check mark next to mail, contacts, and calendar. Uncheck calendar and contact. Then finish setup.

I set mine up the same way that I did hotmail. You just need to know what the server address is for your outlook and you're set.
