Tried to get an answer in the Google forum but no reply:- https://support.google.com/drive/forum/AAAAOxCWsToTxRHTSl-92A/?hl=en I want to use the 100GB Google Drive for $24 per annum to store some 88GB of my music files; slowly growing but will be several years before it exceeds 100GB. The files are on three Andriod devices (one phone and two tablets, so 88GB on each), held on the external micro SD 128GB cards in each device. I sync them by keeping a careful watch on the state of each card and manually sync as required. It would be good if I could just amend one card, on the device I have with me, and let Google Drive auto sync all, as and when they are in wifi range. I am only talking about one main folder on each card i.e. card root > Music and its sub folders. Will Google Drive sync only to a specified folderm in this case Music? Any advice please?
I'm very interested in hearing people's expertise in this as this is something that would greatly benefit me as well.
Google Drive will sync whatever you tell it to sync. You'll need to install the app on each Android Device you have and specify the same cloud folder for all 3 devices. That's the only way I see it working.
Got my 100GB upgrade. Using my A7 Galaxy phone (OS Version 8.0.0) However when I follow the instructions nothing happens:- Open Drive, tap +, tap upload, open SD card, find Music folder, tap folder. Nothing happens? Any advice please?
