Does anyone know if it is possible to sync my EVO with HTC sync via bluetooth? I did it with my blackberry.. was MUCH easier than constantly having to plug it in and run the sync.

Same here. I'm guessing it can't be done, which is REALLY unfortunate.

this must be a joke right?

i've just upgraded from a nokia N95 that i had for maybe 3 years. that phone had it's flaws (a lot of em), but with a little work you could make it do anything you wanted. i thought these androids were the future, but sometimes it feels we are going back in time, this is a basic feature!

there must be a way to sync via bluetooth. somebody please help.

There is many apps that syncs your android phone with your computer via bluetooth, however, htc Sync just won't.

My favourit option is My Phone Explorer. Free too, but would gladly pay for such a great software!

    Hi,

We have launched recently 'Blue SyncRoid' in the market. A trial version is also launched.

The main aim is to synchronize contacts and calendars via bluetooth with Outlook 2003, 2007 and 2010 (32 & 64 bits both). No need to pass all the important and private information through the cloud any more or carry a usb cable all the time. This was our motivation to develop this app.

Please visit Blue SyncRoid - www.bluesyncroid.com

It has been thoroughly tested in our labs and works perfectly fine.

We will appreciate all the feedback and comments.

    Happy syncing !
