Hi all,
I just upgraded my phone last week from an HTC Hero to the Samsung Galaxy S2 adn am struggling with music on it.
I ordered a 32GB micro SD card as my Hero was full of music and that only had 4GB in it and that card arrived yesterday.
With my hero, all I did was plug the phone into my PC, opened windows media player, dragged songs into the sync list and hit sync (As you would with any MP3 player) and it worked no problem at all.
I tried last night with my Galaxy and with syncing there appeared to be no problem, however most of the songs do not playback on the Galaxy.
All the track information is correct and the length of the song is correct, the song appears to play but there is no sound at all. A few songs do play though.
What I have noticed is the songs that come from CD i have ripped which have copyright protection (DRM) on them, have this play with no sound problem, and tracks with no DRM play ok.
So I'm confused? Why is this not working, surely the Galaxy can handle music files with DRM applied the Hero could.
Please help, anyone experienced this, what's the solution?
Thanks,
Dale
