Help System settings

I recently picked up this phone, and after rooting and enabling sideloading to get rid of all the bloatware from AT&T, I can no longer save any changes to the system settings. Did I mess up the rooting somewhere?

Specifically, I've been trying to change my wifi sleep policy to never, but it won't retain the setting, either through the system menu or the app Spare Parts.

Powercycling seems to have taken care of the issue.
