Help System UI

I'm seeing really high System UI battery usage. Can't recall if it has always been like that or not. Only thing I did differently was added an Exchange account last night.

I'd like to keep Exchange on my phone if possible.

Any ideas?

Load up the app GSAM Battery Monitor for a better idea of what exactly is using the most power.

Most, if not all, OEM Battery stats are lacking at best. Just run this for a few days to get an idea of the highest battery consumers.

FWIW, your stats sound like mine, w/SYSTEM U/I over 60% of use. If you tap around in the battery usage, it'll list all the apps under that general heading of SYSTEM U/I, but, not give a clear picture of exact use per app.

GSAM is an easy to use app that'll give detailed usage w/o hitting you over the head w/a textbook lesson from SPC 101......

Mine is at 70% for android system. Is that a problem? Battery life is great anyway so I'm not sure that it's a bad thing.

Yea. Looking at that GSAM app after just a half hour I'm realizing that I'm at 70% and I unplugged 8 hours ago and I've been using the phone. I'm thinking it's probably just the phone doing its thing but since I'm not using any specific apps or services frequently enough it's registering that higher than it normally would.
