system update

[Android Question]

i have the android DISCO10 2.2-20110803 tablet, it was working very slowly so i did a system reset but it is still very slow and i cannot download certain applications as it is not up to date enough. what can i do to rectify the problem, it is only a year old

That's 2 generations in computer years, 3 (at least) in Androids. Not much, really. Expect to run a couple of apps at a time, and not blazingly fast.
