What's up guys? So, I'll get straight to the point. (Btw, GS3 - Phone of Choice)

I want to know the science behind T-mobile's $30/100m/5GB plan. I understand that Metro's $60 plan truly offers me unlimited everything, BUT! I live in RI and coverage here isn't that great compared to T-mobile.

My issue is, I might sometimes go over 100m in a month (rarely that is). I don't mind paying for extra minutes at all since the conversion is $.10c to the minute.

So, 100m/$10 adds up to $40 (keep in mind, my budget is $60).

Scenario 1: If I'm in a call and I'm about to cross over my 100m limit, does the call end on its own or does it continue? Adding whatever charges needed without disturbance of alerts.

Scenario 2: After I've gone over my 100m limit, can I call someone? What I mean is, does the call go through and charges me. So that I can pay the extra minutes at the end of the month. Or will I have to pay extra on the spot by buying refill cards?

This determines what carrier I go with. T-Mobile is really good coverage where I live and where I work and I'll take something cheaper any day. BUT, Metro's $60 plan is good and final, no extra anything. Just pay at the end of the month and go on.

Cam someone with experience with these plans, give me their input? Thank You!

    Definitely tmobile!

All you need to continue the call is have some extra money in the account. You can just buy a 50 dollar card if you really wanted to and you'll have extra money in your account if you go over the 100 minutes.

Gsm (tmobile) also is better because you can unlock it and use it on other gsm carriers.

Also I highly doubt it just cuts off. Just make sure you have some extra money. The tmobile 30 dollar plan is unlimited but after 5 gb its 2g.

Really? Damn, then that solves my problems then. Do I have to buy a card? or can I just use a debit card?

Damn, 2g? LOL! I thought it'd at least drop to 3g, but that's cool. Most of my downloading habits occur at home on wifi. 5GB is more than enough for me.

Well you should just be able to use a debit card but some people on these forums have been buying high value cards for a much lower price. For example, a person bought a 50 dollar card for 43 dollars. (no idea who sells these).

2g is faster than sprint boost or virgin mobile 3g for me. 5gb is more than enough for most people.

Hmm, that's interesting. I'll look into that also, lol.

Yeah, I'm not worried anymore though, all my big downloads will be through wifi. So its all cool. Thanks man, now I gotta go hunting for that GS3 or Note2 if I can find for $350, LOL!

Apparently Metro will start offering GSM phones next month according to sources on the Metro subsection.
