Ive got myself a new S3 (o2 UK).
I rooted it and then i wanted to make it connect to ad hoc wifi's.
    i changed a system file:
    /system/bin/wpa_supplicant
into a different one which was meant to fix it.
from then my wifi wont turn on at all.
i swapped the file with the old one again as i thought it would fix the issue and i did the factory reset and clead everything.
    it didnt help
    now im stuck.
will installing a new system/ ROM help?
    how do i do it?
    please help im desperate

Yes, flash a new ROM. This is why it's not advisable to play in the system partition. A new ROM will overwrite whatever changes you previously made.
