Root [T-Mobile] Rooting Walmart Family Mobile

Walmart Family Mobile is "powered" by T-Mobile, and when I boot my Samsung Galaxy S4 there is a T-Mobile splash screen with no mention of Walmart.

My question is, can I safely root this phone using the T-Mobile root instructions, or do I need to be aware of any special instructions because of it?

Im pretty sure that phone has the same model# as the tmobile m919. So sure you will have no issues rooting. No need to keep duplicating these root threads. if you have a similar ? Just look for a similar thread.

It is the same as the T-Mobile branded version because it is the T-Mobile branded version. Make sure it is on 4.2.2 first before you go rooting around. Once you are sure it is on 4.2.2 go to http://androidforums.com/t-mobile-g...w-install-twrp-recovery-root-install-rom.html

follow the directions and than root and custom recovery - and you are just gold!
