I wonder how or if motro will change since it is a part of T-Mobile, when or if it is merged with sprint and sprint freedom

It's more likely that I'll become a Space Shuttle Commander than it is that Sprint will buy T-Mo.

    sprint will never buy tmobile.

a merger perhaps, or more likely softbank will buy tmobile, but sprint itself is in no position...

Not the first time Sprint and Tmobile have tried getting into bed, probably won't be the last... It usually ends up being spectrum and compatibility of networks... Maybe once everyone is on VOLTE things will change...

Actually neither company is doing overly well. T mobile still is 20 billion in debt. While Legere is making it seem like tmobile is starting to prosper it really is a case of being done with smoke and mirrors and seems very intent on a ploy to be either merged or bought out. D.T. has been looking to dump t mobile usa for a while now and seems they finally found there guy to get the job done. As for softbank yes they would be the major funding behind the deal but with the laws the way they are softbank cannot own spectrum in the u.s. without having a headquarters in the states so yes it would be sprint who made the merger or purchase. Rumors are they already recieved most of the bank backings they would need to make the proposal. The major hurdle would be thr goverment and att raising hell over the whole tging since they were not allowed to buy t mobile but remember the goverment said they wanted 4 carriers. Enter dish network who currently own more wireless spectrum than any other carrier and has been dying to get into wireless. The merger or buyout is a real possibility. There are many who think if dish gets there way and finally uses that spectrum there holding for wireless that this would pass easily.

i definitely see dish as the one who ends up with tmobile, hopefully they dont revert tmobile back to the way they were and instead keep pushing it forward.

while tmobile may have been making claims of being pro consumer etc there still needs a lot of work done in the US with cell phone carriers etc.

That's a good possibility. There are lots of people who don't want only three national carriers, and Dish acquiring T-Mobile would keep it at four.

I see sprint working out a deal to let dish use there towers to launch a 4th carrier. Supposedly already in the works at least talking wise. T mobile is debt loaded and i dunno if dish wants to take on 20 billion in debt to start. I dunno if sprint got t mobile its up for debate if its good or bad. Lets be real t mobile will never truly compete with att or verizon there to spectrum and cash strapped and honestly d.t. has zero history of funding t mobile usa more than it has to. Can they make little waves and dents alone sure they already have. Maybe can they eventually overtake sprint as third? Possibly but sprint has a very rich big brother now who has shown they will invest deeply into sprint. Now a combined sprint tmobile with softbanks huge financial backing could be a very dangerous player to verizon and att. As long as they kept t mobiles kinda outlaw screw the rules carrier approach. Keep legere in charge and the combined company stands to really be a force. But thats all up for debate on what they actually will do. Common sense and business sense usually dont go hand in hand.
