Tab is "skippy"

Recently my tab had been skipping. Simple things like scrolling through facebook feeds, watching videos and playing a game. The game is laggy or chirpy. It's like something is using all the CPU. I've tried cleaning it with an app but no change. It's annoying! Really don't want to reset back to factory.

I ran a malwarebytes scan and it did not detect anything. I had to download and install malwarebytes from the Amazon app store because, for some reason, I can't download and install apps from the Google Play Store anymore. AVG Antivirus didn't detect anything either. Something is leeching to my CPU. I just can't find what it is.
